Class description:

Complete a quilt, roughly 48" by 58"  in this class. Learn to cut fabric, piece a quilt top, layer that pieced top with batting and backing, straight line quilt or tie the quilt, trim and bind your quilt.

About the Instructor:

I began my quilting interest in 2013 when some friends encouraged me to use fabric to frame out a counted cross stitch piece that now hangs in my living room.  The next items I tackled were pillows in traditional quilt patterns. At the same time, I began watching videos and reading quilting blogs. Reading through many patterns, I finally found one where my response  was, "I can do that".  That queen size quilt is now on our guest bedroom bed and it was quickly followed by one for he master bedroom.
Friends gave me bags of fabric scraps and I tackled quilt after quilt, gifting family and friends with finished projects.  After my first two quilts, I tackled the final quilting step, securing the top, batting and backing and after a few quilts of straight-line quilting, tackled free motion quilting. In 4 years, I have finished over 120 quilts from baby blanket size to queen size and have quilted all but 2.
