Workshop Description

In this oil painting class, students will learn about color, temperature, color mixing, linear & aerial perspective, composition and much more. Students may paint landscape, still life, figures, animals or any subject they wish from photographs. The instructor will help with each stage of the painting.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Jane Kahler has an education from commercial art school and experience from a long career in the commercial art field. She started working in oils in the mid-70s, studying with numerous well-known artists. Jane has been a full time painter since 2004. She works in oils, watercolor, pastel, acrylic and colored pencil. Oil painting is her favorite medium.
