Ed Napolitan
Ed Napolitan was born in New York City, where he where he grew up in a home filled with art and music. As a child, he spent his summers in Europe, visiting family and experiencing rich and diverse cultures, history, and art. He later studied at the Art Students League of New York under Anna E. Meltzer, the founder of the Anna E. Meltzer Art Institute.
Ed's work evolves from the chaos of the unknown and exposes the results of this struggle for everyone to see. His art is expressionistic -- beyond literal description and languages. Ed's objective is to create work that evokes a response, free of commentary or agenda.
"I work spontaneously, finding my way from chaos to order, as the painting uncovers itself to me."
