CLASS DESCRIPTION

Academic, observational drawing is a step­by­step approach to improving one’s drawing skill set. Students will be walked through various exercises designed to increase visual sensitivity. Open to all experience levels. 

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Jay Bailey was born in Reno, Nevada in 1976. He has a BA in Fine Art from the University of Nevada in Reno, undertook post­baccalaureate studies at the San Francisco Art Institute and has his MFA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has shown work in group and solo shows in America, Canada and Australia. He taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas art department prior to teaching all ages and skill levels in Dallas, Texas. His work focuses solely on the human figure with a strong emphasis on drawing.
