Cindy Gray
Cindy-Neinast Gray has been an artist her entire life. Beginning early at 2 years old, red crayon line drawing on a white hallway of a new house, art has been an integral part of her world.
Gray received a Bachelor of Environmental Design, in the school of Architecture, from Texas A&M University. Her career has always been art-related and includes graphic artist, owner and designer of a children’s clothing line, “fun art” instructor, and full-time professional artist.
An intense love of vibrant colors and contemporary design is embodied in all of her works. Cindy paints primarily in heavy body acrylics and combines the use of mediums and “found objects” in her paintings. Because of her unique style, Gray’s paintings give a person the urge to touch her very tactile art. Her wish is “for her works to appeal to all people, regardless of age, as they view her art with a smile and an outstretched hand…perhaps for just a touch.”
Cindy lives in Dallas, Texas with her family and shares her studio with her two Jack Russell Terriers, Willy and Kona. Her paintings hang in private collectors’ residences and commercial spaces, both nationally and internationally. Locally, Gray has art in permanent collections at the NYLO Hotels Dallas Southside and The McKinney Performing Arts Center. She is available for commissioned art in any size or genre for businesses and private collections.
