ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Tina Alvarez was told as a child she "couldn't draw and was not an artist" and so never pursued a career in art. She instead became an educator, a professional speaker and an award winning, passionate photographer and Raku potter. Then she experienced an innovative art process that allowed her inner artist to emerge and discovered she could indeed be "artistic". Now a Touch Drawing Facilitator, she has taught this technique for the last five years. The process is fun, unique, requires no art experience and often surprises the student in many ways. Tina has facilitated this process at the Craft Guild of Dallas, Dallas Arboretum, A Creative Art Studio (Denton) and in home private workshops.
Spring session: Thursday, May 4. 10:00AM-1:00 PM
