Class Description
Honor the unconditional love and enjoyment you receive from your four-legged friend by creating a special pet portrait. Instructor Barbara Keilson is able to capture each pet’s personality and soul in her paintings, and she will help you do the same.
About the Instructor
Barbara grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, and lived in Naples, Florida, before moving to Dallas. She has three children and seven grandchildren. She began studying oil painting in 2011 and, after many years in radio advertising, decided in 2015 to pursue art full-time. She has always felt destined to become a portrait artist.
In addition to pet portraits, Barbara has done figurative painting as well as landscapes. She has worked in both watercolor and oil but prefers oil for realistic painting.
Barbara paints out of her studio in Plano, Texas.
